Brannon Brooks
Brannon is the co-owner of the Fitness Together of South Park. Brannon worked at two different Fitness Together studios in Birmingham, before moving to the Charlotte area. The most exciting thing about working at Fitness Together for Brannon is to see her clients achieving their results, “I love when a client can fit into an old pair of jeans, or get back to the size they were in college, it is very rewarding” Brannon has a BS in Childhood and Family Development from the University of Georgia, were she was a heptathlete and pole volter for the Georgia Varsity Track Team. Since graduation she has been working as a part of the FT family.

JD Brooks
JD BROOKS – JD is the owner of the Fitness Together of South Park. He and his wife Brannon have come to Charlotte from Birmingham were they worked in a number of different Fitness Together studios. JD says the thing he enjoys most about working at Fitness Together is the personal bond you create with each and every client. “There is something to be said about working hard with people to help them accomplish their goals, and I love that!...Also, I have had many clients who hold on to there old clothes in hopes of wearing them again, and when they put those old jeans on for the first time there is not a better feeling in the world!” JD has a BS in Business Marketing from Clemson University, were he was a 4 year letterman for the Clemson Varsity Soccer Team. Before joining the FT Team he worked for First American Bank in Birmingham.

David Currid
David has joined our team from Jackson, MS. He graduated from Baylor University. Upon graduation he proceeded to obtain his personal trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. During college, David worked as a rock climbing instructor at Baylor’s rock wall. He lettered in five sports for his high school and was all-state in both football and soccer. David is experienced in strength and endurance fitness due to this athletic past. His favorite part of training is being able to encourage people to reach their goals, exceed their expectations, and shatter boundaries. David says, “It’s one of the most amazing experiences being able to come along side someone and help them obtain the goals that they have set for themselves….priceless!”

Hudson Belk
Hudson joined the Fitness Together team in January 2009. He loves working at Fitness Together for the opportunity to push people to meet their personal fitness goals as well as seeing them being able to enjoy exercise. He also loves the opportunity of getting to know many different people in the South Charlotte community. Hudson played college baseball. Since college he has enjoyed running local road races and training for marathons and has completed 2 Boston Marathons. Hudson graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Business Management.

Laurence Presti
Laurence is manager at Fitness Together Southpark and has joined the Fitness Together training family from Melbourne, Australia! He has a BS in Biomedical Science from Monash University in Melbourne. He has also received a Level 3 Health & Fitness certification from the Australian Institute of Fitness, as well as the Fitness Together trainer certification. Prior to arriving in the states Laurence was working as a gym and rock climbing instructor in Melbourne. Laurence has a unique training style that he likes to say comes from his background in competitive swimming and triathlons, as well as the knowledge and drive instilled in him by his youth coaches. His moto in training is "practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect". Laurence says "The best part about training clients is when they push themselves further than they ever thought they could!"

Ryan Hagen
Ryan is a native of Charlotte, NC. He graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelors degree in Communications. He has been involved in fitness and competitive sports for over 12 years and is a firm believer that highly functional movements and a good diet is the key to overall fitness and health. Ryan has been involved with the Crossfit philosophy of training for the past two years and also has NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) Personal Training Certification. He believes that the fitness needs of all of us, be it an Olympic athlete or a grandparent, are the same and can be adapted to meet the needs of each individual and their skill level. His personal motto is “Don’t talk about it, be about it.”
