Fitness Together of South End is led by manager Carrie Selby and owner Michael McAllister.  As in all Fitness Together studios, we pride ourselves in giving every client the attention they need and deserve.

    Carrie Selby - Manager

    Carrie is our manager at Fitness Together South End. Carrie currently holds a B.A. in Exercise Science, with a concentration in Sports Management and demonstrates her knowledge and abilities by creating both intense and results-driven workouts for Fitness Together clients. She has an extensive background in a physical therapy environment as well as personal training. One of Carrie's strongest assets is her creativity in program design, which keeps the body guessing so that clients are constantly seeing results. Carrie became a personal trainer after years of training herself and pushing her own limits. She turned her passion for fitness and working out into a professional career. Carrie believes that the Fitness Together experience is all about the one-on-one attention and accountability. She gives each client a personal plan of attack that the client progresses with to reach their goals. As a motivational coach, Carrie is on top of her game. She pushes herself to the limits of training, and expects the same from clients. Carrie is also an avid runner...she does 5k's and 10k's for fun.

    Colin Johns

    Colin brings a wealth of knowledge to the health and fitness industry having competed in several sports including basketball, golf, and collegiate baseball. As a well rounded athlete, Colin has a proven track record of delivering excellent service as a personal trainer for athletes, busy professionals and stay at home Moms. Consistently upbeat Colin makes every client feel great about themselves and their progress. Colin is enthusiastic, motivating and full of energy!

    Lisa Papanastos

    Originally from Orlando, FL Lisa has been teaching group exercise classes since the early 90's. In an ever growing and changing industry Lisa has kept up with the newest techniques and styles through numerous seminars and courses. She is ACE certified for Personal Training and holds an AFAA certification for kickboxing. She loves to combine all of her various backgrounds into her sessions with clients and especially loves to throw the boxing gloves on. Watch out! Lisa is available for both one-on-one training and tandem training sessions.

    Erin Standhart

    Erin is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science and a concentration in Fitness Leadership. She has over seven years of personal training experience and has trained people of all fitness levels; including children, teens, housewives, and collegiate and professional athletes. While she enjoys training people of any caliber, her passion is working with the general public. She enjoys educating and guiding them to reach their fitness and life goals. Erin continues to further her education by exchanging ideas with other trainers, her husband (who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy), and by continuing education. She draws a lot of her training style and technique from Juan Carlos Santana; who is considered the founder of functional fitness training. She incorporates this type of training into workouts by presenting exercises to her clients that will directly translate into everyday movements and activities. She believes that every person is different, therefore should be trained accordingly; and that is Erin's goal as a trainer at Fitness Together.
