Fitness Together of Huntersville opened in March of 2009. The staff at every Fitness Together strive each and every day to help all clients reach their health and fitness goals. The studio is located in the Torrence Village shopping center on Exit 23 of I-77 (adjacent to the Presbyterian hospital between J.R. Crickets and FedEx).

Adam Law
Adam comes to Fitness Together from his home state of Michigan. After spending the last 2 years at Fitness Together-Plaza Midwood as a trainer, Adam has recently become the manager at Fitness Together’s newest location in Huntersville. He brings with him an American Council on Exercise certification, and is currently studying kinesiology. He began his career as a trainer in Michigan where he specialized in sports specific training. He worked with young teens helping them become more in tune with their athleticism. On top of the training Adam also spent 3 years coaching for a youth football program. He is very creative with his workouts, and feels that keeping the trainee guessing is key to a fun, successful session. Adam carries a deep passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. He feels both aspects should be made a priority in everyday life. His ability to connect and become personal with his clients makes him very enjoyable to work with. It is important to him that the clients feel comfortable, and free to be themselves. Adam feels the passion and determination to help clients achieve their personal goals keeps each client coming back for more. His presence in the studio definitely brings a fun humor and relaxed energy to each and every session.

Jason Herbert
Jason comes to the Fitness Together family from is home state of Michigan. Jason has recently completed his American Council on Exercise certification, and has brought an interesting, unique style to training with his athletic, and military background. Jason’s passion for training began in his early high school years where he was a 2 time state qualifier. After high school he continued working with wrestling, coaching with the youth wrestling program in his hometown. He also brings his experience from his time with the United States Army where he was responsible for the training and health of his soldiers mentally and physically. Jason is a great motivator and brings a high energy level in his one-on-one time with his clients. His ability to connect, and make the client feel as comfortable as possible, while reaching outside their comfort zone makes Jason a great fit for anyone.

Mariko \"MJ\" Smith
MJ joins our staff with a certification in Personal Training and Nutritional Consulting from the National Personal Training Institute. Prior to her certification, Mariko attended the College of Charleston, where she earned her BS in Economics. Her drive and discipline to maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle can be attributed through her experience as a NCAA Division I athlete. Mariko brings experience in weight loss and endurance, hypertrophy, strength training, and diet/nutrition counseling. With her extensive knowledge, and her dedication to fitness and health, Mariko is confident in catering and developing programs specific to the client’s goals; and producing positive results. She strives not only to train well, but also to educate clients and give them the tools and support to maintain success for a healthy, active lifestyle.

Brittany Brockner
Brittany comes to Fitness Together after graduating from the National Personal Training Institute, where she’s received certifications in both personal training and nutrition. Her interest in training stems from her early days in college when the “freshman 15” quickly became her “freshman 35.” She learned to take off the weight, and in the process fell in love with the effects exercise and proper nutrition had on her - more energy and strength, and of course, a better body. She loves helping people realize that they are much stronger than they think they are, and her training style incorporates the trifecta of fitness – strength, endurance and flexibility. She is constantly learning different fitness disciplines she can incorporate to her sessions to make them more fun and challenging. In addition to all this, Brittany is an avid runner, often training for and running road races in her spare time. She looks forward to helping all the clients at Fitness Together achieve a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle!
